Rating
The “fingers” on this pad leave streaky smears on my wood and tile floors. You can actually see a line or dot for almost all of the “fingers”. Steer clear of these purple pads and use the white ones because they leave everything looking smooth and clean. I am not sure what the purple pads are good for because they don’t work well on floors. Amazon has a great return policy so I will be sending these back.

The purple mope head is for picking up big muddy, like when it’s been raining and I let my four dogs in from a few minutes of romping in the mud. I have a cattle ranch and I use this mop head more than the “fine tuning” ones!

I am very glad to have them, because even though you get two sides of cleaning with each pad, you can never have enough when 70% of your house needs steam mopping!
That said, with the designation of “duster”, I would have assumed they picked up more dust than they did. They really should be called a scooter — it smears dust around a bit rather than picks it up.
